What is reportplus?
reportplus is a primary school software program which brings a fresh approach to the task of writing annual reports. Designed to meet the needs of the New Primary Framework, it has been developed over the last 3 years in close consultation with a nationwide panel of 30 schools. reportplus avoids the pitfalls that have given report writers a bad press in recent years, whilst providing teachers with an effective tool to create individual reports for parents. It also removes many of the administrative chores associated with producing reports.
How does reportplus compare to Elementary Reports?
reportplus is based upon Elementary Reports. Therefore reportplus and Elementary Reports have virtually the same feature set. However, the reportplus annual update and support fee also includes access to the ReportServer system at the reportplus offices. This allows the administrator can upload settings to the reportplus server and teachers can download them to any PC that has reportplus installed. Reports can also be uploaded or downloaded to the server by teachers easily. The style of reportplus is slightly different too, with a different 'look' to the icons, etc...
Files saved with either program can be loaded by either program. The two programs are fully compatible with each other.
reportplus sounds great! Can I swap licences?
Although reportplus is written by Computing Data Limited, it is licenced to be marketed, sold, and supported by reportplus Limited. Schools that have a licence to use Elementary Reports can SWAP their licence for a reportplus licence that has the first two years of support free.
