If your previous report system was ReportAssist then you can import your old files if you like.  The ReportAssist import wizard will allow you to start ReportComplete with the same front cover, favourite statements, teacher names and pupils from the ReportAssist system.  ReportAssist was one of the UK's most popular programs for creating primary school reports - it was used by thousands of schools.

If you have already started writing reports in ReportAssist during the current year then you will be given the option of importing the report text too.

Note: None of your original ReportAssist files are altered in any way.

You do not need to remember your old ReportAssist passwords as ReportComplete automatically decrypts any ReportAssist file.

If for, some unknown reason, the import cannot find your actual ReportAssist data then the import system will automatically go into 'Advanced' mode.  If you would like to import from another location then you can also click 'Advanced' so you can browse to the correct file.

When browsing you should locate your old ReportAssist program folder, go down in to the Report Assist data folder,  locate the folder with the teachers name that you wish to import from.  Click the 'turtle' file that is within that folder - this contains your report data.
