Normal backup

If you make a mistake or somehow damage a file, don't panic!  By default, Elementary reports makes up to 10 backups of your work.

The backups have the extenders '.bk0' to '.bk9' - with '.bk0' being the most recent and '.bk9' being the oldest.

To load a backup, just go to the 'File' menu and select the 'Open backup' then 'Normal backup' options.  A dialog may appear asking if you want to save the current file:

After this, a file selector dialog will appear - just pick the backup file you want to load.
