Who programmed Elementary Reports?
Elementary Reports has been written and designed by Anthony Ball.
Anthony is not new to school report systems, he wrote and provided most of the support for the acclaimed ReportBuilder (published by ApplePanic). Anthony has been programming computer systems since the early 80's, he actually started programmed video games whilst at school! After leaving school Anthony created video and computer games and designing new copy protection systems for various video and computer game companies before setting up his own software and design company.
Why free updates?
Some companies hold back all their fixes, updates and improvements and release a yearly update that customers have to pay for, they usually call it a "maintenance fee" and it can be quite expensive. We think this is completely unfair - when you buy something you shouldn't be held to ransom at then end of each year, forced to buy an update that fixes things that shouldn't have been broken in the first place. In our opinion, updates should be released for free and soon as they are ready.
